What Happened To Davido? We paid him over $90k+ to perform in warri but he refüseď to come - Amaju Pinnick (Video)

In a recent video that's causing quite a stir, Amaju Pinnick publicly takes superstar singer Davido to task for his notable absence at the 19th edition of Warri Again, despite having received a whopping $94,600 (72.5 million Naira) as compensation.

Amaju Pinnick, the former President of the NFF and a prominent member of the FIFA Organising Committee, does not mince words as he expresses his profound disappointment over Davido's no-show at the event, which was scheduled for October 6th.

What makes this situation even more intriguing is that Davido was not only generously compensated for his performance, but a chartered plane had been arranged to whisk him and his entourage to the venue, making it a deal of significant magnitude.

The payment in question was reportedly made as early as April 6th, 2023. However, when the curtains rose, it wasn't Davido who took the stage but Shallipopi, renowned for the hit song "Evien."

Amaju Pinnick doesn't hold back when addressing the gathered audience, venting his deep dissatisfaction with Davido's actions. He goes a step further, declaring that the singer won't be given another chance to perform in Warri in the future.

In an unexpected twist, Amaju also takes a swipe at Davido's character, labeling him as arrogant and boldly proclaiming that Burnaboy, another heavyweight in the music industry, eclipses the DMW boss in prominence.

The Davido-Warri controversy has set tongues wagging, and the entertainment world is buzzing with anticipation to see how this high-profile showdown unfolds.
